The following images, are my renders for my current project and include a living area and also the bedroom, i am rather happy with them, they reflect the theme i was going for, of course somethings have changed but they vary little as to what i had in mind.

The rendering process for these images, has been slightly time consuming as i had to render the image to see the outcome then change whatever i didnt like. However i am fairly satisfied with these pieces.
This is some more of my development work, for my current project. As you can see from the previous post the images have changed, due to me changing the lighting a camera positiion to get the ideal Camera view.

I am currently in the process of completing a project where i have been required to renovate a public building into a residential one. For this project i have been required to do a variety of different things , varying from floor plans to using sketch up to create a final model of the building. I have decided to share some of my early renders peices, to give you an idea as to what can be accomplished by using a program such as skecthup

Although these images are just development, i think they give you a good idea as to how the interior could look like in real life. And displaces my ideas clearly. So far i am enjoying this project, as i am able to decided how the interior is going to look, from the flooring to the decoration. Its deffinitly something i enjoy doing.

These cute detailed dishes where designed by swedish designers Defyra, and i found them rather interesting. Although they lack anything big and bold about them, i thought the shape and the details of the plates where stylish especially for small appetisers.

Designed by two architects Todd Saunders and Tommie wilhelmsen overlooking the norwegian fjord, it has no lights installed as it will be used mostly in the summer which only has 4 hours of darkness, and therefor was decided no lights would be required. The whole building is insulated with recycled newspaper and there is no electricity running through this building. A calm and peaceful get away that would be a perfect place to escape to.

The Sra Pou  colourful Vocational School in Cambodiawas handmade from red bricks to fit into its surroundings, there are coloured shutters which can be opened and closed to block out the sun. Originally this was just a Class project however the designers of this building Hilla Rudanko and Anssi Kankkunen decided to go further ahead after they recieved funding for the project.
The bubble chandelier designed by Shaun Kasperbauer. The design is an eco-friendly light and is made from 2 litre soda bottles, the Chandelier gets its name from the shadows it casts that actually reflect bubbles. A very detailed item, which is quite interesting.

I am currently interested in the streets of San francisco, and the houses as they are all so colourful. Its someone i would be interested to visit in the future, not only for the architecture but for the Goldern Gate Bridge and scenery in general. Definitly a place worth visiting.

Ultra Mondern

I recently discovered some interesting furniture while flicking through the trendir website, a new Mosspink collection by Bruehl who design a range off interesting sofas.  Their current collection features some oddly shaped sofas which come in a range of various colours. This collection is ultra modern as well as fun looking and something i like. Especially for the random colours that have been used together, which are colours you would not usually think to use together however they work well creating that futureristic vibe.

This is another development i found while searching the HKR Architects website which i found very fascinating. It is a residential project which they are currently working on, i find this building so different and nothing like iv seen before, and according to HKR architects the building will have 288 serviced apartments as well as 3 retail units, a restaurant and also a podium swimming pool. Il be looking forward to see this building developed as it is going to obtain so much for one building. But no doubt it will just be another intriguing building amongst the others that are in Abu Dhabi.

Searching across the interenet i stumbled across a website HKR Architects, and decided to post about it, as many people may find it interesting like myself. HKR Architacts are currently developing detailed design proposals for " The wave". This development will hopefully be aimed at those who require more out of there office space with regards to location and energy effiency.
While flicking through a magazine, i came across some work by Interior Architect John evans. Two of his projects stood out for me,  Firstly one of his Restidential designs Countryside Family Home, Warwickshire
, its so sophisticated yet the rooms are all very simple when it comes to colour. I think within this building the furnishings are what have made it so interesting. Its all very spacious, each and every room, and even with all the nutural colours it still apears cosy and yet comfortable.

The second peice of work by John Evans is a leisure facility "Private Wellness Spa, Cotswolds" its very serene and harmonious. The shower in the photo duplicates that of a water fall, giving the illusion as if your under a water fall.
I have most definitly enjoyed looking and discovering John Evans work and projects, and have found the above peices very insperational.

Bancolombia is the largest bank in Colombia, and serves more than 6.9 million customers. The headquarters project emerged because of the need to Combine 4,000 employees, operating from 14 buildings in the city of MedellĂn, Colombia. It stikes as being very innovative, aswell as individual for the headquaters.
